This website does not use contact forms, analytics or profiling tools. Images, videos and fonts are loaded directly from the website’s own server.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Operating and securing the website (browsing data) – our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Responding to requests and managing business relationships – pre-contractual or contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Compliance with legal obligations (e.g. tax and accounting) – Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
4. Providing your data
Providing your data when contacting us is optional, but without it we cannot respond to your request.
5. Recipients
Your data may be processed, as data processors, by providers that support us in running the website and our IT services, in particular:
- WP Engine, Inc. – website hosting, on servers located in the European Union;
- Cloudflare, Inc. – security and content delivery (CDN) services included in the hosting;
- Aruba S.p.A. – email services;
- InfoCert S.p.A. – certified email (PEC) service (Legalmail).
The Contact page includes a map based on OpenStreetMap: to display it, your browser downloads map images from OpenStreetMap Foundation servers (United Kingdom), which receive your IP address. The map does not set cookies. More information: OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
Data may also be shared with our professional advisors and with public authorities where required by law. Data is never published or disclosed to the public.
6. Transfers outside the European Union
The website is hosted on servers in the European Union, and email is handled in Italy. Some technical service providers are based in the United States (Cloudflare) or the United Kingdom (OpenStreetMap Foundation). Any transfer complies with Articles 44 et seq. GDPR, based on European Commission adequacy decisions (the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for certified companies; the United Kingdom) and/or Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Data retention
- Browsing data: only as long as needed for the website’s security and operation, according to our hosting providers’ log retention periods, unless required to investigate unlawful activity.
- Contact requests: as long as needed to handle them; if a business relationship follows, for its duration and then for the periods required by law (normally 10 years for accounting records).
8. Cookies
This website only uses technical cookies and similar tools that are necessary for it to work securely (e.g. protection cookies set by the CDN service and display preferences stored in your browser). No profiling or analytics cookies are used.
Technical cookies do not require your consent (Art. 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines of June 10, 2021). You can still manage or delete them in your browser settings.
9. Your rights
You may exercise your rights under Articles 15–22 GDPR at any time – access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interest – by writing to [email protected] or to our certified email [email protected].
